My camera isn't turned...

My camera isn't turned on. The Privacy setting is on. I've only used it once when the All-in-one computer was brand new 3 years ago. Now I need it. How do I get it to turn on?

Technician's Assistant: Are there any flashing lights, symbols, or messages on your camera or display screen?

No. The software just says "no webcam detected"

Technician's Assistant: Have you tried removing and replacing the battery and/or SD card?

There is no battery or SD card.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Camera Expert to know before I connect you?

I'm at your mercy.

Windows 10. The PC has touch screen. I've updated all the drivers for all software and hardware. Under Device Manager, no camera device is listed although it came with one. I've never used it in 3 years and need it now. Under Privacy settings/Camera, camera toggle is On. My external camera on the other PC is not compatible with Windows 10. The ASUS camera might have the same fate.

Right-click in Device Manager and search for new devices.

If it is not detected at all or showing in Device Manager then Windows 10 is unable to recognize it.

I have jump through all those hoops. I just thought there was something I missed. Could you recommend a software package that would use the camera on the I-Phone6 to capture a photo? I found one (EPOCCAM) but it would not capture the pic...only project the image in a window.

Can you take the picture with the iPhone's built-in Camera app and then transfer it to the computer?

No. But I'm trying to set up a new broker's account for bitcoin and they've developed a way to use the web camera to capture the live photo directly from my camera into their records. They will not accept a "pre-recorded" pic. Once again, technology has surpassed by capabilities. Thanks.
