I have a dell...

I have a dell n5050 laptop, about 5 years old. Recently I have had problems with the audio on streaming videos. The audio works fine on my video files that are stored on the computer but does not work when I try to stream you tube videos or netflix videos. I don't think its a wi fi problem as I can stream these videos fine on other devices like my smart phone. Any ideas?

Technician's Assistant: Is this happening with internal or external speakers?

Internal speakers. And I should add that it is intermitant. Sometimes it will work fine. Most of the time not.

Technician's Assistant: Did you try updating the sound driver on your N5050?

No. How do I do that.

There's a few ways to fix this. I would first recommend by reloading the sound drivers. I can walk you through this or do this for you if you'd like. Let me know your thoughts and when you're ready

They should be built in to Windows. You'll want to uninstall the current ones, restart the computer, and then run an update in Windows to reload them. Do you know how to do this
