I have recently bought a refurbished asus AS F 540s from outlet pc here in Spain, after only 5 weeks it has failed. outlet pc say I must contact Asus directly to seek a repair

2 led lights are on, one has a battery symbol, the other a light bulb symbol.
There were no sounds at all.

I recommend unplugging power, then removing the battery.

Next, open the computer memory panel and reseat the memory.

Next, with the battery still not installed plug in the charger and attempt to power up the computer and let me know the result.

This is a joke, if you had even looked up the model, you would know it does not have a removable battery, and does not have any access to the memory!!!!!

Actually I did, and actually it does, as both are underneath the keyboard.

However, since you disagree with my recommendation, I will open the question to other experts that may have additional ideas that do not involve addressing physical memory and battery/power issues.
