Astonishing! A REAL PERSON!...
Astonishing! A REAL PERSON!! My Live Mail email account won't let me send a message or reply to one. I've had a number of computer issues recently, and this just started 2 days ago. I have NO IDEA what to do. Please advise.
JA: Just to clarify, what email service provider are you using for this account?
Customer: This is unusual. I have a stand-alone email account with AT&T "@bellsouth.net" but no other account with them. AT&T let me use it sort of as a courtesy when I switched from them to ComCast. (Long, boring story, but for later.)
JA: What's the brand/model/Operating System (OS) of your computer?
Customer: ?? Such as?? (Sorry, I'm not terribly tech-literate.)
JA: When did you purchase your computer? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Computer is about 3 years old. I checked the online Microsoft support but it referred only to Outlook, not windows live mail, and I don't know that they're the same.,
JA: Anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No.

It's not that simple. Yes, I can receive messages, but there's a real issue with AT&T. I don't want to go through all that again. Do you have access to my initial entry?

I do NOT want a remote connection at this point, and I closed the window.
