JA: What's the brand/model/Operating System (OS) of your computer?
Customer: Windows 10 pro
JA: When did you purchase your computer? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I think perhaps I am not clear. Our current e-mail is caenergy.partners unfortunately it is either not accepted or getting caught up in spam. As a result we need to change it to caenergypartners.com

I can do all of this:

1. Migrate all your emails from .partners to .com domain.

2. Configure the mailboxes and import all emails from .partner to .com.

3. If need be, connect to your users to configure there accounts.

4. Setup a forwarding from .partner to .com so that you dont miss any emails sent to .partner.

The cost for this is going to be $500.

This is how i will do it:

1st create the addresses .com.
then migrate data from .partners to .com

then setup permenant forwarding from .partners to .com

from this point, you will only use .com.

You can add as many addresses as your package allows (i am not sure what type of hosting it is at the moment).

But i would suggest that we use Google Apps for .com so that you do not run into spam and bounce back issues again, they charge $3 or $5 per mailbox (but it's worth it). However, this is your choice, i can setup either on GoDaddy or anywhere but i would suggest and recommend Google Apps for emails only.

ok if it takes a few days and they are using .partners will it come to the recipient as .com? suspect not but need to ask

They will have to delete .partner and only use .com, emails sent to .partner will automatically come into .com, when they reply to emails received at .partner, it will be sent from .com. So we're redirecting .partner to .com along with the switch, this is to ensure that we do not miss any emails, and with time (make the shift and advise customers to use .com), i would suggest updating signature to say something like our email has changed from***@******.*** to***@******.***).

Hi with Thanksgiving messing things up I think we better wait until the 27th. Do we pay you now or when I work with you to actually make the change and yes we will stay with Google.

I suggest that we set everything up now, but dont make the final move.

If you have 2 hours now, i would like to setup Google, Configure Email Accounts, and Setup Migration. This will not affect existing scenario, things will continue as they are, and then on 28th or 29th, we do the rest.

Otherwise, we can do this on 28th/29th.

You only pay when we start.
