We have Outlook 2016...

We have Outlook 2016 and were ok with this. But 2 or 3 weeks ago if we got into our Outlook email, we would click on an email which would give us an internet link. Anytime we clicked on the link, we waited about 20 seconds and then nothing but back to the email. We do not have that problem with our notebook or smart phones. What gives? Help.

Anytime I get a msg about a window update, we do it

No we just want our main computer ie laptop to allow us to connect to links from our Outlook email which by the way, we pay to have.
