I foolishly clicked on the scam Windows 10 update. After the update completed the screen came up with the large letters that I was protected against the world. I became suspicious and turned my laptop off. I restarted it. Everything came up normally. I turned off internet connections. I ran Malwarebytes - nothing found. I ran Norton Internet Security - only 13 tracking cookies found. Am I still vulnerable?
JA: What's the make and model of your machine? And how long has the screen been an issue?
Customer: Sony Vaio ... looking up model number. Just happened this afternoon

Customer: Yes earlier today .. before the scam update

It was a pop up which I found out Windows does not do and Microsoft does not display messages in large letters after an update
