Commercial emails are too large for the screen. Do I need to reset something?

Technician's Assistant: What's the make and model of your machine? And how long has the screen been an issue?

This machine is a Dell Inspiron (running W. 10 & the other machine is a privately made (running W. 8.) They are both having this problem

Technician's Assistant: Have you installed any updates recently?

They are automatically installed & I never know when they happen.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?

only part of the message is visible. There is no scroll bar on most & on the ones that have a scroll bar, the bar goes full length fills the space (it cannot be moved.)
