Within the last 2 weeks my husband has received a message that his password ***** to be changed. As long as we have used Microsoft 8.1 and other programs before this we have not had to "change a password ***** access his account". Why did this show up now?

I got into his account using a usb and the info came up to reset his password. I want to get rid of having to use a password ***** access his account. I don't have to use a password ***** my account.
