In SQL server, when you're editing a stored procedure and you execute it, how do you hide the messages pane at the bottom so as to see a full page view? And how do you see the line numbers in the SP?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I meant to say after you've executed it.

Forget the first. You select hide the results pane. But would like to see the line number.

Sorry for the delay, we are busy and I've just got to your question.
How long has this been happening?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
No idea. Must be a setting. I want to find this :Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Procedure vsp_rpt_arslip, Line 126 [Batch Start Line 18] Incorrect syntax near ','.

What version of SQL is it? MS or My?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
SQL server management studio version 17.2

Can I connect please and show you? The lines are on the top part of the SQL execution..?

Here it is. Maybe it's here and I'm just not seeing it.

To enable line numbers in Query Editor windows, follow below steps:

  1. Step1: Go to Tools > Options.
  2. Step2: In the Options dialog box navigate to Text Editor > Transact-SQL > General.
  3. Step 3: Check “Line Numbers” and click on “OK”
