I keep getting a Stop Code: 0xC00CE556. Please help. I tried to fix it on my but I cannot.

HP vs 19 with windows 19

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your computer? What have you tried so far?

A few weeks. I have taken off the software that I was told could be a problem. I went on line and got as far as driversupport which I downloaded but it would not open. Then I contacted you.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the software expert to know before I connect you?

I also am getting Error Parsing 0xC00CE556 as of today. When I delete this message several times it will stop until I try to do something different. Than it starts up again.

Great!! This is a Microsoft .Net Framework issue. I would like you to go to the below mentioned path and take a copy of the config folder somewhere, in a different drive or in documents.

C:\\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Famework64\v2.0.50727

Now Enter the Config Folder. You'll find a number of files but we are focused on two files.

machine.config and machine.config.default.

If you see two files, please delete machine.config and rename machine.config.default to machine.config. Windows might popup with a warning. Just confirm the prompt and continue.

Those files are not in the Config Folder. Should I go up to higher level directory. If so which directory do I look under?

We only need to the change the below mentioned two files. That's it.

machine.config and machine.config.default.

You don't understand. I can't see either file. What I see is a list of places to go on the internet to solve the problem I am asking you to solve. By the way. This is not the primary problem. The primary problem is my computer keeps getting a stop code and shutting down.

I apologize. I went through your initial comments and read you installed DriverSupport. Driver Support is not a Legit and you need to uninstall the same first. Please download malwarebytes from the link below to completely remove the software. There's an option to download the free version.
