Hello and welcome.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Windows 10 Start Menu.

May I connect with you remotely to troubleshoot the issue directly?

Regards,
Martin

Oh that's okay, I can give you the instructions to follow so you can join the session from the computer with the problem

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
no i do not want you to remote connect company information on computer
Expert:  Martin replied 2 months ago.

Okay no problem, it's completely optional but the steps to fix it might be a bit complex for you to follow

Expert:  Martin replied 2 months ago.

You need to open up a command prompt or powershell with administrator privileges and type the following command in:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

(Might be hard to type without any typos)

Once that's done, the computer needs to be restarted.

Does that make sense?

Expert:  Martin replied 2 months ago.

If you open a command prompt instead of powershell you need to put powershell in front of the command like this:

powershell Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
