MS sent a code to my phone number. how do I get it

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer do you have?

Hp laptop running windows 10

Technician's Assistant: Have you installed any updates recently?

That's the problem. I just installed office 16 and it won't work till I register it. I put in the key but a message says it's wrong. They then sent a code to my email but email does not work since office is not registeered

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?

Every time I put in a password ***** my account, I get a message that says someone has been trying with the wrong password ***** often that they can't open it n now this has been going on for months
