It won't turn on. Surface Pro 3. No, it hasn't been powering

It won't turn on.
JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: Surface Pro 3.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No, it hasn't been powering up for two months now.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: It did that same thing shortly after I bought it March 2016. It would not power up so I took it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy. They were able to get it going but they did not tell me what they did.

If you are unable to power it on by holding down the Power button for 20 seconds while it is plugged in then it could have an internal issue with the tablet.

Unfortunately, it is outside of the warranty period so the cost of repair would be yours.
