I have an Asus Q324U laptop with Windows 10.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact model of your Asus? And what operating system are you running?
Customer: Q324U model
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Windows 10 Yes all updates are competed but other laptops in my family have a better range picking up the wifi connection in our home.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: The wifi pick up seems weaker than when I first purchased this laptop, which was four months ago.

There can be a number of reasons for slow Wi-Fi connection on yur Windows 10 , some common issues that can cause these problems are:

  • Corrupted or incompatible drivers.

First I suggest you to run the network adapter troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  1. Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and selectControl Panel

  2. Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on theControl Panel.

  3. Click on View all on the left navigation pane.

  4. Click on Network adapter.

  5. Click on Advanced on the Network adapter dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).

  6. Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete theNetwork adapter troubleshooter.
