The computer did an upgrade and added Edge and now I can't

Customer Question

The computer did an upgrade and added Edge and now I can't get out of the temporary profile it set up and get to my own profile. I have open and closed the system several times as it suggested for that and nothing changed Please help
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your machine, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: Dell Xps now using window 10 as it just changed to that I think
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: yes it installed them evrytime I open it the last 2 days since this problem started
