Customer Question

I just bought a (wireless) Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop to replace the keyboard and mouse. I'm looking for installation instructions. For example, should I shut down the system, remove the old devices, install the new ones, and then start up the system?
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular machine?
Customer: Lots. I've been using it for several years, and I got tired of the wires.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Yes, system updates were installed within the last day or so.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Nope

Hi there, your wireless keyboard and mouse should have came with a USB dongle. You can leave the wired keyboard and mouse then plug in the dongle into a open USB port.

Give it a couple minutes as Windows has to install the drivers to the keyboard and mouse. When it completes test the wireless keyboard and mouse. Once it works unplug your wired ones.
