Was there a problem with the original RAM or were you just trying to add more memory?

Are there any other RAM chips fitted in the computer?

What happens if you put the original RAM chip back in?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
adding ram, 2 slots, 1 with 8 gig in it, taking out the new ram and restoring original runs normallyNorm
Expert:  Pete replied 4 months ago.

Ok, then the new RAM is either faulty or incompatible.
