I got three phone calls saying my computer had a virus. They would come right over my computer. The first call cost me $200. I called my son in law and he said it was a scam. The second, by telephone, said they would reimburse me my money but I refused to give him my personal info. Yesterday he called again. He was talking over my computer saying I had a virus. It was the same man all three times.

Customer: I called my son in law and he said the same thing happened to some other people. My sil told me to restart it. The other man told me not to. I restarted it and it was fine.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your machine, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: It is a Hewlett-Packard. I am in a wheelchair and don't know the model number. It is Windows 10.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: It does that automatically.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
