I was contacted online by a person claiming to be a Microsoft engineer attempting to protect my computer from from viruses and invasions. I let him in, but decided it may be a scam and disconnected.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact model of your computer? And what operating system are you running?
Customer: I am not sure. It is a Dell computer I bought a year or so ago at Comcast.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No, unless this guy did.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
