Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist.

From the tablet home screen go into Settings>>Wi-fi.

With the wi-fi ON, hold your finger down on your network name until a menu pops

up and select Forget. The tablet will re-detect the network. Tap the network name

and you will be prompted to enter your wireless password.

Enter the password ***** connect.

Let me know the result please.

Thank you. Is the computer you're using to talk to me connected to the same wi-fi

you're trying to get the tablet connected to?

OK. Can you tell me which version of Windows is on the computer. If you're not sure, on your keyboard, hold

down the Windows logo key (just to the left of the spacebar) and press R.

The Run box will open.

In the text area type: winver and click OK.

A window will open telling you your version of Windows.

Thank you. Here are the steps to recover your wireless password ***** Windows 10

Right-click on the start menu button and open Network Connections.
Right-click on the wi-fi icon (the one with the green bars)
and select Status
Click the Wireless Properties box.
Click the Security tab at the top.
Click Show Characters such that a checkmark
appears in the box.
What you see to the right of Network Security Key is your wireless password. It is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as you see it on your screen.

Thanks. Is the computer you're using connected to your router with a network cable?

I understood that the computer was working by wireless.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
The computer I am using is a PC and connected to the new router

Please take a look at your new Shaw modem. On the label look for WiFi Key

The label should also have an item called SSID. The SSID is the name of your wireless network.

If you got a new modem the name of your wireless network (SSID)

may no longer be what it was before.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
SSID-Shaw-690679 and Shaw-690679-5G are both listed but do not respond to my password ***** multiple attempts.
Expert:  Byron replied 7 months ago.

Does the modem label have a Wi-Fi Key displayed?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Pre-Shared Key###-##-####
Expert:  Byron replied 7 months ago.

That would be it. Do this: Leave this page up and unplug power from the modem for 60 seconds.

After one minute, plug the modem back in and allow it 2 minutes to start back up.

In the meantime restart the tablet.

This page will become active again once the modem re-establishes its internet connection.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Bryon I have done as you requested but unable to connect with any of my three passwords to either 690679 or 690679-5G
Expert:  Byron replied 7 months ago.

If the tablet is telling you the password ***** ***** then there's something wrong with the modem.

Do you see a reset button on the modem?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I have tried the reset and waited 2min for it to re-establish
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I must leave now but would like to continue later. How do I get back to you?
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Please send message to***@******.***

Can we continue?
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
It appears we are not able to connect again and therefore I wish to end this conversation, sadly without resolution. I believe this wasw a free trial and I will cancel my payment via Paypal for the monthly service. You have my email if you need to contact me further.
