JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your machine, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: so, I'm working on a MacBook Air, my former landlord helped me set it up and we split the OS to both MAC and Windows, since I'd never used MAC before but still wanted to learn so I'm on a MAC but I'm working on Windows software because thats what works with my company I'm a 1099 and I work remotely
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?

Customer: the speakers and audio... i'm trying to get a "Soft phone" system to work - so I can call from my laptop rather than my personal phone
