How do I access my account
JA: Have you contacted anyone about your account?
Customer: No...we just got an iPhone, I had purchased a used IPad earlier, so do not have an Apple ID #. Very illiterate with this tech stuff
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No, just activated the phone this afternoon. They said we needed an Apple ID # to get apps

You will need an Apple ID account in order to use your iPhone.

Open the Settings app.

Tap iCloud.

Tap Create a new Apple ID.
