My Asus Laptop K53E don't turn on at all I open it and the On/Off switch do not work. The battery adapter entrance is properly welded. I need to buy the samall plate that have the little bump over which the external On/Off switch is located. Can you help?

Hi,

Remove all external devices, CDs, AC Adapter and battery from the computer. Keep the AC Adapter and battery unplugged.

Insert the Adapter (battery removed) only. Then, press the power button and let me know the response. Check if you get a single blink from the power light.

Then, remove the Adapter and insert the battery only. Press the power button and let me know the response. Check if you get a single blink from the power light.
