First, I am 80 years old. I've been using email fro 20+ years. I've been away for the last 2 weeks. I came back and today tried to get into my 2 weeks of emails. I cannot. The damned thing keeps telling me I can't. I have never had this experience before. I've got emails to answer and book reviews to write and I am extremely unhappy.
JA: Just to clarify, what email service provider are you using?
Customer: How do I know? I just turn it on, give it the proper info and away I go. Is it google?
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No, I've been away two weeks!
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Tell him I'm normally a sweet guy, but tell him about this stuff I get extremely upset since I don't know much about it at all!

Do what you have to do and quit emailing me...you people should be ashamed for the amount of pressure and stress you cause people my age to go through with all these shananigans...why can't you just call us and talk to us like normal people do as we are not as saavy computer-wise as younger generations. And then you put us through all these rigmarolls using language and concepts we do not understand and cause us even more duress.
