I started the edge browser and got a "horrible" message, taking over the screen and saying that spyware has "taken over" my system, and that I should call 1-***-***-**** to get it fixed.
JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: HP Pavilion, running Windows 10
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Not knowingly but I do have the "automatic" install and something probably was done in the last week or so.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
