harmony 900 remote will not hold a charge. I bought a new battery, it worked for a week. I think the cradle is bad, but I don't know.

If you have a volt meter you can make sure you have the correct voltage at the cradle. AC adapters can go bad or not provide enough voltage. You should get a reading at or near 5.7 volts. If all is well with the battery and the cradle, then there is a solder joint on the remote that is bad and a charging repair is probably what you need.

There is often a cold-solder joint on the H900's charging pads, you should get a reading at or near 5.7 volts. If all is well with the battery and the cradle, then there is a solder joint on the remote that is bad and a charging repair is probably what you need.
