Customer Question

Hi
JA: Hello. What seems to be the problem?
Customer: I just bought a refurbished Lenovo tablet 2A10-70 and I'm trying to connect it to the personal hotspot on my iphone 5. However, I don't see an iphone option under the Lenovo settings tab, just usb tethering, Bluetooth tethering and an option for "Hotspot & tethering settings". When I tap on this, it gives me a choice of IPv4 or IPv4 & IPv6. Does this mean the tablet will not connect to an iphone 5?
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact model of your Lenovo? And what operating system are you running?
Customer: Lenovo tablet
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Lenovo Tablet
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No except that I'm not very tech savvy. :-)

via the "Personal Hotspot" on my iPhone.

Hello,

In that case, you simply need to connect to the wireless signal on the tablet. It will not be listed as a phone. Do you see any wireless signals on the tablet? Connect to the signal coming from your iPhone and you will be all set.

Please, keep me updated. Thank you.
