Sometimes when a magicjack is first registered it doesnt register with the local phone switch properly, right away. So people will hear the long distance message. However, if they are calling from a cell phone or a land line that has long distance included, its not going to charge them.

At the same time, when they dialed your magicjack number did they put a 1 in front of it, or just dial the number without the 1?

And also, when they tried to call did you magicjack ring through?
