On September 23, 2016, because my monitor was not working, I ordered a new one which arrived within two or three days. My computer is a Dell Vostro 270s, which I purchased in March of 2013. I have managed to set up the new monitor and its cables. My problem is that there doesn't appear to be any where I can plug them into my computer. Any suggestions?

I'm sorry about the issue. You may need an adapter for some older computer models.

What's the model of your new monitor? Please check at the label(s) on your monitor, usually at the back, for the model of it.
