I ended my ATT account and switched to Comcast 4/23/16. As of 11/3/16, my free ATT email address no longer allows me to get into my emails. I was given a Comcast email address, but was told I had to contact ATT to delete my old ATT email address.

If you ended your ATT account then most likely they will have deleted your email account which is part of the service (and not technically free but provided as a product when you use their services).

What is the exact message you get when you try to sign into that account?
