I have an Asus N53SV notebook which I use for travelling on

Customer Question

Hi Pearl, I have an Asus N53SV notebook which I use for travelling on business. The unit has been remarkable reliable and I am very keen to retain it. However, since I upgraded to Win10, it occasionally crashes and requires a lot of restarts to get going again. I have run various diagnostics all of which say the hardware is ok, I have tried various drivers, but still don't have confidence. Do you need a specail set of drivers or are there better diagnostices which could pick up a fault when, say, the machine is under laod? *Uload
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact model of your Asus? And what operating system are you running?
Customer: It is an Asus N53SV notebook. I am running Windows 10.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Several times. I have reloaded the OS from the Microsoft site and this is what is running now.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I think that is it thanks. :-)

Hello, and thank you for using this service.

I will help you now.

When you "reloaded" , did you actually download installation media from Microsoft and perform a CLEAN install on the notebook?
