Q: Is a US software company allowed to block access to a file on my computer by
hi jacking my file reading attempt and requesting that companies software to be down loaded.
When trying to open my file I got this message with no way to cancel it:

Hey there, I'm Tim, please explain more.....But if it is a PDF, you would need a pdf reader, which adobe makes, so do other companies, does not sound illegal at all.
