Can not connect my Lenovo X1 Carbon to my Samsung UN32H5203

Customer Question

Can not connect my Lenovo X1 Carbon to my Samsung UN32H5203 TV that I use as an external monitor. It worked OK for a year. Have recently updated to Windows 10. Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3199209) ran recently.

Hi there and welcome

How are you connecting the Computer to the TV? Via a HDMI cable?

And what message are you getting on the TV?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
I am connecting with an HDMI cable. The message on the TV is
"No Signal
1. Check cable connections and the settings on your source device
2. Press SOURCE on your remote to select connected source device."

Thank you

Can you please remove the power to the TV (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then on the actual TV, hold the power button for 60 seconds then release.

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the TV, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

Let me know the results please
