Hi John, my name is ***** ***** welcome to JustAnswer!

Has PowerDVD ever worked properly for you?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
This happens when I try to play a video DVD. Data disks see to be OK
Expert:  ChrisC replied 10 months ago.

Okay, gotcha.

Have you ever been able to play a video DVD with PowerDVD without problems?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
No, just tell me what to do.
Expert:  ChrisC replied 10 months ago.

Well it sounds like there may be a compatibility issue between the drive and the software. Did the software come with the computer or did you buy it separately?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
It all came with the computer. What I am now trying to play are training DVDs which work fine with the Blu-ray player on our television
Expert:  ChrisC replied 10 months ago.

Okay, thanks.

Expert:  ChrisC replied 10 months ago.

Since the software came preinstalled, I'm assuming you don't have any kind of installation media, is that correct?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
That's enough! You're fired! Keep your $5.00
Expert:  ChrisC replied 10 months ago.

Okay John, not sure what your reaction was for. I was just trying to gather some information from you.

I will opt out of the question and open it up to other experts.
