I am getting a warning about an adware virus and am told to call a certain number. Have no idea what that is. McAfee says I have no virus
JA: What kind of computer do you have?

JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no

Does this issue occur when you open a particular program?

Does this issue occur when you shut down / restart the computer?

Does your problematic Dell computer have windows xp, vista, or 7 or 8 or 10?

Can you please click on Start, then click on Control Panel, then open System (or System and security -> System), and that it shows Windows Vista (or Windows XP, or Windows 7 or Windows 8 or Windows 10)?
