My recovery disc (D) is 88% full. I tells me that my recycle bin needs to be emptied. When I click on the recycle icon, nothing happens! How can I solve this problem?

In order to help you, I need to know what operating system you have on your device. Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8.1, 10, or do you have a Mac?

You never responded about what operating system you have. I cannot automatically tell what type of devices you are on with these issues

due to you entering other for both browser and os. I will assume you have windows for now, but i need a reply to troubleshoot with you.

This error can also be caused if you have a malware infection. Open your anti-virus software and run a scan to detect and remove any detected malware. If you don't have an anti-virus program on your computer you can use the Microsoft Safety Scanner. To download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner, follow these steps:

a) Go to theMicrosoft Safety Scanner site at:

b) ClickDownload Now.

c) If prompted, clickRun. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the Microsoft Safety Scanner. When prompted, add a shortcut to the Microsoft Safety Scanner to your desktop.

d) From your desktop, double click theMicrosoft Safety Scanner icon. When the Microsoft Safety Scanner program launches, clickScan Type, then click Full Scan, then click next.

e) After the scan is complete, remove all detected malware entries, and try to installWindows Updates again.
