My laptop with a blank screen ( back screen) tells me to install a operating system on my hard disc. So how to that?

Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist.

With you laptop turned on, place your Windows installation disk in the CD/DVD drive and close the

tray. Hold down the power button to turn the laptop off.

Turn the laptop back on and start tapping the F9 key. A menu should appear allowing

you to select the CD/DVD drive as a boot option. Select it and press Enter and the Windows

installation should begin.

My apologize Byron for my spellings made my questions difficult to understand, however I will try this suggestion. I am too far from my laptop for now and might be for a few days too. Yet I want to be home now to try. I know it will work. Your advice differ from other tech''s
