I am the person that will be helping you today.

When you plug in the drive, does the computer indicate that it has found new hardware?

I will be standing by, looking forward to your response.

Thank you,

No, the computer doesn't indicate that it ha found new hardware.

Are you plugging the drive directly into the computer's usb port or are you first plugging it into a usb hub, which is plugged into the computer?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Directly into the computer's usb port. Of course, SimpleSave predates Windows 10.

Hello. My name is***** to JustAnswer. I'm reviewing your question now, and will post back with your reply momentarily.

First. Turn computer off and take out external drive/usb. Then turn computer back on, and put in usb external drive when it

is loaded into windows. Then,

Please press windows+E, click this pc, do you see your external drive there? You should see things like Cdrive, Ddrive etc
