Hi ,

My name is***** am a certified professional with over 10 years experience. I will be glad to assist you with this.

I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue.

Lets try a hard reboot first please> Sometimes this is caused by a glitch in the firmware and can be resolved by a forced reboot, other times it is due to failed hardware, if it is a glitch then your Toshiba will work normally again. Remove the battery, then Disconnect the power cord and any other externally connected devices and usb cables, then Press and hold the power button down for 60 seconds. Then reinsert the battery only and power on normally. Let me know if any changes occur.

okay, do you hear the hard drive spinning?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i hear the fan speed up a slow down
Expert:  Randy Computer Tech replied 1 year ago.

okay, it sounds like the hard drive is not coming on?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
ok what do i do
Expert:  Randy Computer Tech replied 1 year ago.

The best option if the hard drive is not spinning will be to try another one and see if it will boot up. Normally if it is getting power to the fan and the hard drive is not spinning you can assume the motherboard is okay.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
does that mean the hard drive is bad or is the motherboard bad what is bad?

what you just told me makes no sence
