Customer Question

After the cable guy got a couple electrical shocks from a ungrounded cable wire; my Gateway tower doesn't power up after trying different wall sockets and power strips.
The monitor and keyboard still powers on.
Can my Gateway hard drive be transferred to an Apple Air Ipad (my friend wants to
give me)?
If not, what computer (name brand and desk top (?) or lap top (?) or Ipad(?)
do I need to buy, and/or other I can (easily, I hope)
do the transfer myself?
How soon and do I need to get the hard drive out of the tower?
Ruidoso, New Mexico is the closest to me; can you tell me a good computer
repair shop or store?
Any and all of your help/expertise is truly appreciated.

I am sorry to know that you are facing problem with your gateway computer.

you can remove the hard drive anytime and get a sata to usb cable converter which you can connect the hard drive to any usb port either on a laptop or on a desktop and you can browse the hard drive from the computer attached.
