When i start hp pavilion it goes to page says press exsape nothing happens. i was looking on another computer it said push f9 that screen said what boot devise do you want to use. there are 5 to choose from what one would i use??

You can't get in. That's the Problem. It won't start the boot

Hold down the power button until the computer shuts off ( about 4 - 5 seconds)

Turn it back on and instead of F9 start tapping the F11 key.

Windows should start loading files and then HP Recovery Manager should open.

It goes to page that says push escaped key. Does no thing. I can push the f9 key it goes to what boot do you want to use

Under "I need help immediately"

select Microsoft System Restore.

When it opens, click Next and put a checkmark in the box labeled

Show More Restore Points.

Select a restore date when the machine was working and click Next.
