Customer Question

Good Morning
We have just purchased a Dell Inspiron 3250/ S2240T
We need to import data from MYOB Basics to install MYOB Retail Manager.
Unfortunately we are unable to import until "Hardware" is installed .
When we attempt to put our cable for our Cash Register and docket printer, an Epson M129H, a message appears stating "No Com Port Available"
Can you please assist with a solution ?
Would it be a "Driver" not installed maybe?
Many Thanks - Gayle - Bambino Home Brisbane

Have you already installed MYOB on the new computer?

How are you trying to import old data to the new computer?

How are you trying to import old data to the new computer?

Is it not allowing you to use a usb drive to save data and then you can restore it on the new computer

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Its not the importing that is causing us the issue at the moment, we will be importing from a USB but
we are getting a message when we plug the USB cable for our cash drawer and printer saying there is
NO Com Port. Is this an issue with the Drivers not recognising ? Do we need to Install a Driver to recognise ?

Is it the POS printer or the cash register with a 9pin D type serial connector it has.
