JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: i just received it last night
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: i re-seated the ram and ran diagnostic testing on it, and it says everything is fine, it came with a microsoft windows 7 recovery disk but it doesn't recognize it either

it looks like a desktop

are you sure that you have the screen plugged in correctly and the power cord plugged in ?

do you get any lights on it at all ?

what message if any do you get on the screen ?
