What is the make of your computer? HP, DELL, Toshiba, etc

How old is the laptop? Also, what do you mean by "reset my computer" - What did you select?

It's from 2005 and I erased everything and tried to set it to factory settings and now it is worse

The reason that I asked what you mean by "reset my computer" is because if you cleared the partition then it wiped the operating system from your hard drive which will make it a non-bootable device which will give you that message. If you didn't clear the partition then it is more than likely that the hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced. Since this type of issue cannot be viewed remotely because the computer is inoperable, I would suggest taking it to a local repair shop. I can provide you with a repair shop if you provide me with your zip code.
