I was working on a file when Microsoft crashed. I was not worried

Customer Question

I was working on a file when Microsoft crashed. I was not worried because I knew autosave supposedly on. However, when I went to retrieve my work it only gave me the option to recover the original version saved three days ago. All the work done today is gone. How can I get my document back? Microsoft says there are no previous versions available for the file. Thank you.

Hello, I am Rylan and I will help you attempt to recover the data that you were working on. Can you please tell me if you already had the file saved, then you opened it and made changes? Or did you open the file directly from an email an did not have the chance to save the file yet?
