Hi ,Therese. My name is***** am a computer professional with over 15 years of experience with both Mac and Windows. I'm sorry that you're having this issue. It would be my pleasure to help you resolve this. Can yo tell me please what type of phone you have, including the Brand, model #, and Carrier? If you don't know, you can go to a Walmart near you and go to the STRAIGHT TALK KIOSK. Straight Talk does have a BRING YOUR OWN PHONE plan and is pay as you go/pre-paid with no contract. If you know the carrier, brand, nad model you can check online for compatibility with Straight Talk herehttps://www.straighttalk.com/wps/portal/home/h/BringYourOwnPhone/carrierselectionOther companies that offer a Bring Your Own Phone plan include Credo - http://bit.ly/1SqKwOm and Tmobile- http://bit.ly/1SqKwOm

It's a Samsung 4GELTE. Do you mean that I just walk in with my phone & hand it to them & they will set me up? No binding agreement? I don't want to pay for anything but the minutes.

Absolutely, as long as your phone is listed as compatible AND the previous carrier were compatible. Who was your previous carrier?Versizon, AT&T, SPrint?
