Dell was doing a long troubleshoot for me. The only thing i saw was a "no sound device" This is an older Dell 6400.?E505. I dont know if windows XP is the reason. I checked sound device and it said working. But its not working. No sound at all help

I'm sorry about the issue. Can you please check at the back of the Dell computer for the exact model, such as 6400, E1505, D505, etc.?

When did sound first stop working?

Can you test with headsets / headphones?
