I have Windows 7 Professional an older Dell Optiflex 390.

Customer Question

I have Windows 7 Professional an older Dell Optiflex 390. After sitting for 6 months I attempted to boot it up and got a message that it was uploading Windows updates. Later it showed a message "Failure configuring Windows Updates Reverting changes. Do not turn off your computer. It has now been over 12 hours. Once it went back to sign up page and I restarted it in Safe Mode. But after trying to correct things in Safe Mode, it is back to the original Reverting message. What should I do?
