Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Outlook failed to start correctly last time.
Expert:  Freddy M. replied 1 year ago.

You said internet explorer before now you are saying outlook, can you explain exactly what is happening please.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Microsoft office outlook won't launch. user account control does launch requesting permission to allow app to make changes to the PC. then when permission is given, a screen appears with "Microsoft office outlook has stopped working." A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Yesterday, I updated the windows office apps.
Expert:  Freddy M. replied 1 year ago.

What version of outlook were you using and what version did you update to? Will word open or does it do the same thing?

Expert:  Josh replied 1 year ago.

I don't know
Expert:  Josh replied 1 year ago.

Okay, please try this..

  1. Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, and then select Control Panel.

  2. Search Control Panel for Recovery.

  3. Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.

  4. Choose the restore point before the issue, and then select Next > Finish.

What start button??? that will just shut off the computer!
Expert:  Josh replied 1 year ago.

No, that is the power button. The start button is in the button left hand corner of your screen. It is not a physical button, it is on the screen.
